She was born on November 15, 1926, in Kunkle and was a di- rect descendant of Abraham Vos- burgh, a Revolutionary War sol- dier. A lifelong resident of Sha- vertown, she was a graduate of Kingston Township High School, Class of 1944. Employed by the War Depart- ment in Washington D.C. during World War II, she also enjoyed a summer job as a soda jerk at The Inn at Buck Hill Falls. She was a member of the Shavertown Unit- ed Methodist Church. Surviving are a son, James K., Shavertown; daughters, Barbara Randolph, Dallas; and Karen To- masura, Shavertown; seven grandchildren; three great- grandsons; a sister, Mae Miller, Vergennes, Vt.; nieces and neph- ews.
