In addition to entertainment, guests enjoyed a larger antique trac- tor display and children could explore what life would be like on a farm by planting, pretending to collect eggs and digging up pota- toes. The five-day event, held at the fairgrounds off State Route 118 in Lehman also offered displays and educational opportunities focus- ing on the Back Mountain’s agricultural heritage, plus games, rides and famous fair food. A fireworks display sponsored by P& G Federal Credit Union in Dallas was a fitting ending to this year’s event. / / Young love is always nice at a fair as proven by Vanessa Wells, of Dallas, and Mike Nace, of Wilkes-Barre. the fair Brenda Wesley, of Lehman, offers a plant she has grown to the Luzerne County Fair for judging and exhibition.
