Eighteen student teachers from Misericordia University participated in the program which prepares the under- graduates for classroom ob- servation and instruction in several regional school dis- tricts, including the Diocese of Scranton. The following student teachers received their class- room assignments: Jeanne Anderson, of Seaford, N.Y., is assigned to the Wyoming Val- ley West School District; Da- nielle Bartz, of Pittston, is a student teacher at the Pitt- ston Area and Wyoming area school districts. SCHOOL BRIEFS Lehman students to perform at fair The cast of Lake Lehman High School production, “Wiz- ard of Oz,” will entertain at 1 p.m. today, Sept. 12, on the community stage at the Luzerne County Fair.
