Haub hool of Business. Students must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or above, a B or greater in all their classes and complete at least 15 credits to earn dean’s list status for a semester. Olszewski named managing partner Peter Paul Olszewski Jr., of Dallas, has been named manag- ing partner of Scartelli, Dis- tasio & Kowal- ski, P.C. A former two-term elected Lu- zerne County District At- torney and Common Pleas Judge, Olszewski brings more than 25 years of litigation experience to Scartelli, Dis- tasio & Kowalski, which serves Olszewski the Scranton and Wilkes-Barre regions of Pennsylvania. Prior to joining the Scranton and Wilkes-Barre firm, Olszew- ski spent eight years as District Attorney of Luzerne County, during which time he tried 18 cases to jury verdicts, including seven first-degree murder ver- dicts. During his nine years as a Luzerne County Court of Com- mon Pleas Judge, Olszewski oversaw more than 180 crimi- nal jury trials, including five capital homicide cases. Three dental hygienists honored Three Back Mountain resi- dents participated in Luzerne County Community College’s annual dental hygiene recog- nition ceremony at the col- lege’s Educational Conference Center. The graduates were present- ed with a dental hygiene pin provided by the LCCC Alunini Association. Onzik graduates, named to dean's list Ann Onzik, daughter of Edward and Maryanne Onzik of Shavertown, graduated with a bachelor of science degree from Ithaca College’s School of Health Sciences and Human Performance. Onzik was also named to the dean’s list at Ithaca College’s School of Health Sciences and Human Performance for the spring 2010 semester. To qualify for this academic honor, students must attain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 and complete a mini- mum of 15 credit hours, of which at least 12 are graded. Dr. Singh named surgery director Deepak Singh, M.D., of Sha- vertown, has been named Di- rector of Cardiac Surgery at the Richard and Marion Pearsall Heart Hospital at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Cen- ter (GWV).
