OBITUARIES ANDRUSIS-John J., 71, of Leh- man Township, died Sunday, July 11, 2010 at Upper Chesapeake Hospital, Bel Air, Md. .Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was a graduate of Newport Township High School and received his bachelor’s degree in business education from Wilkes College, Wilkes-Barre. He later earned a master’s degree in business edu- cation at Marywood College, ~ Scranton. He had been a business educa- tion teacher at Lake-Lehman High School for 35 years prior to his retirement. He was a member of Our Lady of Victory Roman Ca- tholic Church, Harveys Lake, and had been affiliated with several professional teaching organiza- tions. She earned a master’s degree as a reading specialist from Westmin- ster University, New Wilming- ton, and a master’s degree in edu- cation technology from Wilkes University. She began her teaching career in the New Castle School District and taught for 19 years at Gate of Heaven School, Dallas. She was a member of “Who’s Who of Amer- ican Teachers” and received the Excellence in Education Award from Misericordia University, Dallas. She also shared her talents and joy of music as the pianist with the performing groups “Sister Act” and “Changing Habits.” Surviving are her husband of 33 years, Joseph R.
