Grade 6 DHS Lock-In keeps grads safe inside The Dallas High School Class of 2010 was treated to a fun-filled evening, known as the LockIn, after graduation on June 4. The LockIn is a fully-chap- eroned, alcohol and drug-free party held overnight at the high school for the graduating class. The objective is to keep the grad- uates off the roads in a safe envi- ronment. Started in 2000, this year’s event was the 11th of its kind. This year’s LockIn was co- chaired by Tania Reinert and Beth Monahan. Over 80 parents, teachers and members of the school’s administration volun- teered their time during the sev- en-hour event. Approximately 138 senior stu- dents attended this year’s Lock-In and enjoyed various games and events, including a hypnotist and plenty of food. Each student went home with gifts, prizes and fond memories of their last time at Dallas High School. Gianna DeGraba takes a turn on the Bungee Pull game.
