JACKSON TOWNSHIP Meadowcrest Road will be repaired; policies updated By EILEEN GODIN Dallas Post Correspondent Supervisors were updated on progress to repair Meadowcrest Road and authorized updates to be made to current township pol- icy and ordinances at their regu- lar monthly meeting on July 5. The bumpy ride on Meadow- crest Road could be nothing but a distant memory soon as town- ship attorney Jeffery Malak re- ported progress is being made with Pennsylvania Aqua to repair the road. Ruts, saw cuts to repair under- ground pipes and settling of man- holes were the result of recent work completed by Pennsylvania \qua. Malak said the company as set aside assurance money in the amounts of $74,425 for road restoration and $44,187 for road repairs. “They have been very coopera- tive,” Malak said. More correspondence will fol- low between Malak and attorneys for Pennsylvania Aqua before the agreement is finished, but Malak said progress is being made. As they prepare to protect ‘roads in the future, supervisors were updated on the revised ‘pavement cut ordinance.
