Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was a graduate of Dallas Borough High School. She also gradu- ated from College Misericordia in June 1992 at age 69. Before retiring, she was the cafeteria manager at the former Pome- roy’s and later at Honig Textile Manufacturers of Hazleton. She was a member of Gate of Heaven Church and its Altar and Rosary Society and Ladies of Charity, Loss of Sight Sup- port Group and the American Businesswomen’s Association. She also was a member of the Association of the Blind. Surviving are cousins. Memorial donations to the Association of the Blind. COSLETT - Harold, died Tuesday, March 30, 2010 on his farm in Lehman Township. Born in Edwardsville on April 14, 1929, he was a graduate of Edwardsville High School, class of 1947. He resided in Edwardsville most of his life, relocating to Lehman Township 16 years ago. He was a member of the Be- thesda Congregational Church and the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 542. HUDAK - John J., formerly of Dallas, died Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at the Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Center, Plains Township. Born May 4, 1930 in Broome, N.Y., he was a US. Army Veter- an of the Korean War and was formerly employed by the Wyoming Valley West School District. Born Nov. 8, 1923 in Wilkes- Barre, he attended Wilkes-Barre schools and graduated from El- mer L. Meyers High School, Class of 1941. He also attended Manlius Military Academy, Manlius, N.Y. and Penn State Extension, Wilkes-Barre. He retired as a field service engineer from Monroe Systems for Business Inc., Wilkes-Barre. She lived in Shaver- town from 1973-2004. She was an active member of North Branch Friends Meeting (Quakers) and helped found and worked as a co-administrator of the Peace and Justice Center in Wilkes-Barre. Having moved to Olympia six years ago, she became active in the Olympia Friends Meeting, the Capitol Land Trust and the statewide Friends Committee on Washington Public Policy. Rendell recently announced a two-week extension of the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Pro- gram (LIHEAP), originally scheduled to end April 2. “This was a harsh and diffi- cult winter that forced many families to expend additional re- sources to heat their homes,” Governor Rendell said.
