NCHA plans dinner, open house The Noxen Historical Com- munity Association, Inc. will hold a dinner at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 15, at the Noxen Community Center (formerly the Noxen School) on School Street. For the project, the devised an action plan which included letters to the principal and their classmates. They stayed inside the building at recess and stayed after school on a Friday to make the baskets. They collected items from the class and made movie, pet, choco- late and craft baskets to raffle off to the entire school, raising $402.50 which they presented to representatives of the SPCA.
