RED SOX 10 GIANTS 4 Justin Sweeney banged out three hits as the Red Sox crushed the Giants, 104. Justin Sweeney and Josh Orlandini made great defensive plays. SENIOR LEAGUE Back Mountain 8 Pittston 4 The Back Mountain Braves de- feated Pittston, 8-4. Kyle Caffrey got the win with Mark Malloy getting the save. Caffrey was 3-for-3 with a double. Adam Paulaskas had two hits with four RBIs and Bryan Math- ers had a triple. Will Fulton and Pat Condo led the defense. Dave Dolon had two hits in a losing cause ; Back Mountain 11 Fort-Swoyer 2 10 Back Mountain defeated Fort- Swoyer 2, 11-10. Adam Paulaskas pitched the fi- nal two innings, striking out five for the win. Zack Yursha led the offense with four hits. Mark Mal- loy, TJ Schultz, Bryan Mathers and Kyle Caffrey had two hits each. Ted Ritsick took the loss. Chris Clocker had three hits. Tied at 10 going into the bot- tom of the seventh, Pat Condo led off with a single and stole sec- ond. TJ Schultz sacrificed him to third. Kevin Muldoon walked and Jake Chielli drove a ball over the centerfielders head for the win. BMT improved to 4-1 for the year. DERBY HELD FOR ST. JUDE’S A AAT AAA AAA A Home Run Derby was recently held as a Dallas High School Senior Completion Project. The derby raised $150.00 to benefit St. Jude's Childrens’ Hospital. Winners of the derby were Zachary Zubkoff in the 13-15 age group, Jonathan Tomko in the 16-18 age group and Bill Harrison in the adult group.
