American Legion Post 672 is planning annual Memorial Day parade for Monday Daddow-Isaacs Dallas League, service organizations Theological Seminary and an American Legion Post 672 will conduct its annual Memo- rial Day Parade at 9 a.m. on Monday, May 25. The parade will begin at the Veterans Memorial in the cen- ter of Dallas and continue to Woodlawn Cemetery and Chapel Lawn Cemetery for Memorial Day services. The Dallas High School Band, Scouts, American Le- gion baseball team, Little and the Legion Riders will be led by the Legion Honor Guard and dignitaries. Guest speaker will be re- tired Brigadier General Kip Nygren, president of Wyoming Seminary. Nygren received a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineer- ing from Georgia Tech, a doc- toral degree in Religion and Culture from the Catholic Uni- versity of America, a Master of Divinity degree from Wesley Engineering degree from West Point. He was a professor and head of the Civil Engineering De- partment at the U. S. Military Academy. He had armor and aviation assignments in Europe, Korea and the United States and has done extensive research on emerging technologies and exponential changes in the military. Clarence J. Michael, left, com- mander of Dallas American Legion Post 672, and Retired Brigadier General Kip Nygren, president of Wyoming Semi- nary, will participate in the Legion's annual Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 25.
