Born March 28, 1928 in Am- bridge, Pa., he was a graduate of Ambridge High School and at- tended Rutgers University. He was a member of Saint Therese’s Church, Shavertown. He was a veteran of the Ko- rean War, serving with the U.S. Army, stationed in Germany. Prior to his retirement, he had been employed as the Vice Presi- dent of Operations at Anesco in Kingston for 15 years. Prior to that, he had been employed as a Branch Manager at Westin- ghouse. In 1990, he completed his Doctor of Minis- try degree in marriage and fam- ily therapy from Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary, St. Da- vid’s, Pa. In 1974, he was ordained into the Presbyterian Church, U.S.A., at the First Presbyterian Church, Reidsville, N.C., where he was the associate minister for seven years. During this time, he also pastored a small congregation at the Hillview Chapel. He served as the minister of Kuhn Memo- rial Presbyterian Church, Bar- boursvile, W.Va., for 17 years. In addition to his church ministry, he worked as a family therapist with sexual offenders for many years. From 1999 until 2006, he was the Executive Presbyter for the Presbytery of Lackawanna, serv- ing 62 congregations in North- eastern Pennsylvania. SPACIANO - Louis J., 86, of Trucksville, died Saturday, April 18, 2009 at the Meadows Nurs- ing Center, Dallas. Born May 30, 1922 in Wilkes- Barre, he was a graduate of King- ston Township High School. He had furthered his education at an art school and did some com- mercial artwork before enlisting in the U.S. Army during World War II. While serving his coun- try in the Asian Theater, he served with Battery B, 513 Anti- Aircraft Artillery Gun Battalion and later served in the Korean Conflict with Headquarters Company of the 5th Infantry Di- vision. Prior to his retirement in 1979, he was employed as a Regional Manager for Supermarket Ser- vices for many years. He was a member of Saint Therese’s Church, Shavertown. He was a lifelong member of the NRA and was also a member of the Har- veys Lake Rod & Gun Club.
