After graduation, he relocated to Wilmington, Del. and started his 40-year career with DuPont Pigments, working in the labora- tory and eventually moving to sales in Wayne, N.J. There, he was a Eucharistic minister, lec- tor and choral member at Our Lady of Consolation Church. Born August 9, 1940, he at- tended Swoyersville High, Class of 1958. He was a veteran, having served four years in the Army. Upon returning from the ser- vice in 1964, he attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Da- venport, Iowa. In 1968, he re- turned to the area and opened his chiropractic office that served the Wilkes-Barre commu- nity for-more than 35 years. His last employment was Sea World in Orlando, Fla.. He was also a member of the Trucksville Fire Department. Surviving are his wife, Tobie, of Orlando, Fla.; son, Brian, of Exeter; daughter, Tammy Bo- zyk, of Peoria, Ariz.; three grand- children; many aunts and uncles. Red Cross schedules The American Red Cross has scheduled several blood drives in the Back Mountain for the month of April. The first drive will be con- ducted from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. to- day, April 5, at the Kingston Township Municipal Building, 180 E. Center St., Shavertown. The drive will be sponsored by Christopher Rose, of Dallas Troop 281, as his Eagle Scout Project and is in memory of John Austin. Fellow Scouts from Troop 281 will assist at the drive and will also serve home- made goodies to all donors. All former Eagle Scouts are en- couraged to donate at this drive. A drive will be held from noon to 6 p.m. on Monday, April 13, at the Trucksville United Methodist Church, Educational Building, Church Road. The double red unit is scheduled to be at this drive.
