Born Feb. 18, 1920 in Lake Township, she graduated from Noxen High School. She retired from the New York State Depart- ment of Corrections where she was employed as a women’s cor- rectional officer. He owned and operated the Back Mountain Economy Store in Trucksville and then Cleasby’s E-Z Shop in Shavertown. He was later employed as a meat cutter at Daring’s Market in Dallas and retired from the Mountain Fresh Market in Sweet Valley. He was a member of the George M. Dallas Lodge 531 F&AM. Surviving is his wife, the for- mer Mary Ann Youells, Falls. DICKINSON - Harold, of Tunkhannock, died Friday, Feb. 13, 2009 at Mercy Hospital after an illness. Born in Lehman on Nov. 3, 1935, he was a graduate of Tunk- hannock High School and a life- long resident of Tunkhannock. He was a member of the Memo- ry Chasers Car Club. He was employed at Local 158 Heavy Highway Construction and, after his retirement, worked at NC Stauffer. Born in Lowell, Mass., he graduated from Lowell High School in 1970 and attended the University of Massachusetts, Ambherst, earning a B.S. in 1978. He attended Liberty University in Virginia, receiving a Bachelor of Pastoral Studies in 1999 and received a Masters in Ministry from the Baptist Bible College, Clark Summit, in 2005. He served an internship as pastor of the Tabernacle Baptist Church in Chicopee, Mass. and became pastor of the Tunkhan- nock Baptist Church in 2000. He was also a substitute teacher for the Tunkhannock Area School District. He was a U.S. Air Force veter- an (1970 to 1974), serving in Vietnam. Surviving are his wife of 35 years, Deborah A. Grace S. Fisher, Ed.D. O.T.R./L. associate professor of occupational therapy, received the Louis and Barbara Alesi Ex- cellence in Scholarship Award. Faculty members are selected by the Fac- ulty Awards Committee. Dr. Fisher of Dallas has author- ed or co-authored 21 publications and has made 20 presentations at national venues as a scholar and teacher in the health sciences. Her research includes studies on care-giving issues in Alzheimer’s disease, animal assisted therapy, chronic pain and occupational management, sensory-based therapy and health care ethics.
