With the brand new Natatori- im having just opened, Stretan- ski wanted to give younger stu- ents an opportunity to learn ympetitive swimming. e started the team with just der 40 swimmers in the first ar and it has been growing ev- year. The team is open to boys ad girls ages 5-14 and there are swimmers participating this ar. With no residency require- ent, the team is comprised of students from the Dallas elemen- and middle schools, Lake- .chman elementary and middle schools, Gate of Heaven, Wyom- ing Seminary, Apple Tree and those who are home-schooled. ! The team participates in the ortheast Pennsylvania Age roup Swim League (NE- GSL) which is comprised of 13 teams in the northeast. A current ompetitor in the B Division, the )MAC swam against Scranton ea Knights, Elk Lake, Danville, ittston YMCA, Berwick, Tunk- ock. The girls’ team is currently un- defeated while the boys’ steam las only one loss.
