New ideas and new members are welcome. The DHS Grad Lock-In is an alcohol-free, drug-free, fully chaperoned, all-night party for members of the graduating class. This year’s event will be the 10th Lock-In and will be held after graduation on June 5, 2009. Seniors are reminded to submit pictures for the Lock-In video as soon as possible. A senior picture and a baby or toddler picture are re- quested. All pictures will be returned. Wyoming Seminary ensembles to present concert on Jan. 13 The Wyoming Seminary Wind Ensemble and Jazz Ensemble will present a program of traditional American concert band literature and big band music at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 13, at Wyoming Seminary’s Buckingham Per- forming Arts Center, Sprague Avenue, King- ston. NEPDEC plans diversity workshop at Blue Cross The Northeastern Pennsylvania Diversity Education Consortium (NEPDEC) at Miser- icordia University is sponsoring the work- shop, “Recruit and Retain a Diverse Work- force,” from 1 to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 13, at Blue Cross of Northeastern Pennsylvania in Wilkes-Barre. Scott Richardson, M.Ed., the associate director of the Diversity Institute at Miser- icordia University and director of NEPDEC, will present the workshop, which is designed to identify recognized best practices for recruiting and retaining a diverse student population and workforce.
