Following are results from No- vember 23 games in the Dallas Youth Basketball League: Eye Care Specialists 33 Smith Insurance 31 Aaron Yurko made a dramatic shot as time expired to lead Eye Care Specialists to a 33-31 victory over Smith Insurance Group, Inc. Yurko finished with 15 points to spark a furious fourth-quarter ral- ly, while Eric Pincokski finished with eight points. Brian Drouse controlled the boards while Jack Tomko and Christian Wargo led the defense. Zach Connolly led Smith Insur- ance with a game-high 19 points, while Donald Michalisin added six. Frankie Bevevino and Justin Sweeney sparked the defense. Fieldhouse 41 UGI/Penn National 26 Brendan Baloh scored 12 points and Jonathan Wilson and Aleksey Gitelson added 11 each to lead Fieldhouse over UGI/Penn Na- tional Gas, 41-26. Matt Ross led UGI/Penn in scoring while Anthony Brominski led the team in assists and Jonath- an Sabatini anchored the defense. Gattuso Group 35 Dallas Rotary 27 Tanner Gattuso and Jake Arch- er combined for 26 points as Gat- tuso Group Accountants and Con- sultants edged Dallas Rotary, 35- 27. Ray Ostroski and Keith Gil- lette also scored key baskets for the Gattuso Group, while Ryan Martin led Dallas Rotary with eight points. Joey Bevevino, Adam Niznik, and Jamie Flores added six points each while Matt Harrison played fine defense. SPORTS BRIEFS Basketball and cheerleading registration set The Rock Recreation Center, 340 Carverton Rd., is accepting applica- tions for its Upward Bas- ketball Program which runs January 1 through March 28. The program is open to boys and girls in Pre-K through ninth grade. Early registration ends December 1 with the final registration and eval- uation day being Saturday, Dec. 6.
