This is a Bible-based club for youngsters from pre-kin- dergarten through sixth grade. During the first club night, boys and girls and parents will be treated to hot dogs and refresh- ments. Awana is an international club and each week more than a million children and youth, 250,000 volunteers and 300-plus field staff take part in over 17,000 churches in the U.S. and internationally. The Lake American Legion was Harveys rocking last Saturday when “Hillbilly D’Lux” provided music for danc- ing, featuring country music with a little bit of rock and roll.
