A panel of judges chose three semi-finalists who were contact- ed by phone last Sunday eve- ning. Judging was based on three criteria: talent, presentation and preparedness. Contestants were required to provide their own accompani- ment or CD and their perform- ance needed to be comprised of one vocal number. The three semi-finalists had the opportunity to perform at this year’s Dallas Days Dance Fri- day night at the Shadowbrook Pavilion in Tunkhannock. They will also perform from 3:30 to 4 p.m. today at the Dallas Harvest Festival, after which the winner will be announced. Stephen Stec, of Dallas, played and sang his way to a semi-finalist position in the Dallas Harvest Fest Idol Contest.
