The group's goal was to work as a team to improve the shrubbery near the swimming pool. The students pulled weeds, laid mulch and cleaned up the area. They also enjoyed a game of soccer during lunch- time. The Dallas High School Freshman Steering Commit- tee, consisting of student lead- ers of the ninth-grade class, raises money for class events, such as the Junior-Senior Prom. The committee meets once a week to plan fundrais- ers and projects to help the community.
