At the earliest, Dunn would leave for Iraq in July. He has not yet received notice of his train- ing dates but, after he completes training, he will attend drill one weekend every month. Some of the basic JAG re- quirements include being a graduate of an American bar ap- proved law school, a member in good standing of the bar associ- ation in the JAG’ state, good character and physical fitness. The selection process is ex- tremely competitive and re- quires letters of recommenda- tion. According to Dunn, there are only about 20 JAGs in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard. While working as an assistant district attorney, Dunn will han- dle military legal matters throughout the year. He can be- come activated or even de- ployed to war. ZACHARY KOSAK IS EAGLE SCOUT Zachary Kosak, 15, a member of Boy Scout Troop 336 of Centermore- land, was elevated to the rank of Eagle Scout on April13. Kosak completed a refurbishing of the Creek Junction Park in Forkston for his Eagle Project where he painted a con- cession stand, the res- troom building and park benches, resealed the bas- ketball court and con- structed two handicapped accessible picnic tables.
