Within the past year, they have participated in football and basketball and Nicolas is playing up to play soccer this fall and are members of Cub Scout Pack 281. Donna is open about her sons’ disease because she wants people learn about it. She is especially outspoken now because she knows once the boys become teen- agers, they may be embarrassed and not want people to know. “I'll never stop talking about it because it has to be known about,” Donna said. Donna decided to go back to school to become a registered nurse and will graduate from Lu- zerne County Community Col lege in May. She plans to continue her education and obtain a Bache- lor of Science degree in nursing. Donna says prevention of lung infections is the best way to maxi- mize the boys’ lives.
