IN 0z comes to Wyoming Seminary Fans of L. Frank Baum are invit- ed to “follow the yellow brick road” when the Wyoming Semi- nary Middle School Players pre- sent “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz” at 7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 15. The performance will be held in the Amato Auditorium at the Lower School, 1560 Wyoming Avenue, Forty Fort. An encore performance will also be held at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 16. This production is open to the public. Tickets are $2 and will be sold at the door. While sticking to the movie’s original lead roles, director and seventh-grade English teacher Margaret Zeigler and her cast of 34 sixth-through eighth-grade students have chosen to break away from tradition and include flashing lights, a neon yellow brick road, a Wicked Witch en- tourage and an updated sound- track. Though the play is not a musi- cal, audiences can look forward to both singing and dancing. a a a RC SA a TR dE Re fe Bn pa a Rx gine ar SUBMITTED PHOTO Seen in rehearsal for the February 15 performance of “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz" at Wyoming Seminary are, from left, first row, Sasha Dubizhanskaya, sixth grade, West Wyoming, “Tin Man;" and Alaina Schukraft, seventh grade, Dallas, "“Cow- ardly Lion."
