SPORTS BRIEFS DYB Skills Competition set The annual DYB Third/ Fourth Grade Skills Competi- tions will be held the last week in January at Dallas Elementary. The fourth grade boys will hold their skills competition on Monday, Jan. 28, while the third grade boys event will take place on Wed. Jan. 30. Start time each night is 5:30 pm. The top three in free throws and lay-ups in each grade will receive trophies. BEGINNER'S LUCK FOR DANTE DEANGELO It was certainly a case of beginner's luck for 12-year-old Dante DeAngelo, of Dallas who shot a doe on November 30, 2007 with one shot and a 4-point buck on December1, 2007 with one shot. Dante was hunting with his father, Bill, and his brother, Billy.
