It was a kickin’ good time at Summerfest held August 11 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Dallas. Gary Booth served as chairperson while his wife, Peg, chipped in as co-chairper- son of the church’s third Sum- merfest event. The Living Stones from Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Kingston and a barbershop quartet provided musical en- tertainment while a puppeteer group from Bethlehem thrilled a crowd of children with their skills. There was food — plenty of good food — a bake sale, new and used books and a flea mar- ket with craft vendors and flea market items. And, with mon- ey still being counted, the total will be well over $3500 raised from the event for the church.
