The Raiders C and D teams re- mained unbeaten at 4-0, while the B team improved its record to 3-1. In the A division, the Raiders received a forfeit to raise its mark to 1-3. Here’s a brief recap of the games. The in- formation was submitted by league representatives. B DIVISION The Raider defense posted a shutout and scored the first touchdown of the game in a 34-0 win against Forty Fort. J.T. Ca- rey forced an early fumble, which was recovered by Quincy ive the Raiders a 6-0 lead. The Kingston Township of- fense took control from that point, scoring on four consecu- tive possessions and rolling up more than 300 yards of total of- fense during the game. Patrick added his second touchdown on a 45-yard run, while Neil Shaver added a 68-yard touchdown run and Kris Roccograndi scored on a run of 50 yards. Josh Weaver scored on a 3-yard run, while Luke Edwards and Shaver scored during two-point conver- sion runs. Robert Wargo led the defense, which posted its second shutout of the season. C DIVISION The Kingston Township de- fense posted its first shutout of the season with an 18-0 win against the Flyers. Mike Ole- nginski and Chris Knecht each scored for the Raiders. Olengin- ski reached the endzone on an 8- yard burst, while Knecht added a 42-yard touchdown run. Infor- mation about the third touch- down was not provided. Defensively, the Raiders held Forty Fort to less than 50 yards of total offense with Omar Nij- meh leading the way with three sacks and 10 tackles. Michael Golden, Justin Cooper, Christi- na Wargo and Shawn Spencer combined for an additional four sacks and 13 tackles. D DIVISION Colin scored two touch- downs, including the eventual game-winner early in the third quarter, as the Raiders posted a 14-12 win against the Flyers. Teammates Christian Roberts, Matt Mathers and Michael An- derson combined to stop a cru- cial two-point conversion at- C division game. Forty Fort took advantage of an early Raider turnover to grab an early 6-0 before Jason Ander- son, Derek Answini and Mi- chael Doggett combined to stop the ensuing two-point conver- sion attempt. The Raiders answered the Forty Fort score with a seven- play, 60-yard drive, culminating on a 35-yard touchdown run by Pertl. Ricky Morgan added the two-point conversion run to give the Raiders an 8-6 halftime lead. The Raiders took the opening possession of the second half and marched 60 yards for a touchdown. Pertl sealed the drive on a 25-yard sweep around the left side, led by the blocking of Devin Robbins, Nick Adams and Dalton Gattuso. Forty Fort scored with less than six min- utes remaining, but the defen- sive stop on the conversion at- tempt sealed the win. BACK MT. BOBCATS The Back Mountain Bobcats D team suffered a 22-6 loss against Duryea. Back Moun- tain’s Stone Mannello broke sev- eral tackles to score his team’s only touchdown early in the fourth quarter. A.J. Spears, Gage Mitchell and Owen Mor- gan played well defensively for the Bobcats. Unbeaten Jr. Mounts bring their Dallas A team remains in first place; C and D teams also post victories The Dallas Junior Mounts A team remained undefeated with a 44-14 win against the Kingston Huskies in Wyom- ing Valley West Youth Foot- ball League action. Brett Wa- nek scored on runs of 35 and 30 yards, while Bubba Felker and Tyler Shutlock added touchdown runs of 15 and 20 yards, respectively, as the Ju- nior Mounts took a 28-0 lead at halftime. Kevin Muldoon and Garrett Artsma added two-point conversion runs during the half. Eugene Davis scored a touchdown for Kingston to be- gin the third quarter, but Mul- doon quickly answered, tak- ing the ensuing kickoff and re- turning it 50 yards for a score. Bobby Saba added the conver- sion run to make it 36-8. Justin Davis scored on a short run for Kingston, but Dustin Siperko’s touchdown run capped a 60-yard drive for Dallas. Buddy Shutlock scored on the two-point con- version to close out the scor- ing. B DIVISION Two evenly-matched teams batted throughout the game, with Dallas and Kingston fin- ishing with a 12-12 tie. The game was stopped after four quarters of regulation play and two overtime periods. Ryan Zapoticky ran for one touchdown and threw for an- other to lead the Junior Mounts. His first touchdown, a 6-yard run, was set up by a lead block from Logan Bull- ock and two receptions for a combined 37 yards by wing- back Nick Luzetski during the A game drive. Dallas scored in the second overtime as Zapoticky threw an 11-yard touchdown pass to Luzetski, who leaped over a defender to make the catch. Defensively, Mark Michno re- corded an interception and re- turned it 57 yards to Kingston territory. Matt Roncevich also played well defensively, while Sal Moran led the offensive line play for Dallas. C DIVISION Matt Harrison, Mikey Shut- lock, Ryan Cheskiewicz and Cole Dixon each scored a touchdown as Dallas edged the Huskies, 26-20, in a C divi- sion game. Harrison got things going early for the Ju- nior Mounts, returning the opening kickoff 60 yards for a touchdown. Shutlock also scored on a two-point conver- sion run. Bennett Kennedy, Jude Mo- ran, David Simpson, William Mikolitis, Corey Harris, Ryan Monk and Jackson Shaver led the offensive line play for Dal- las. D DIVISION The Junior Mounts used a strong defensive performance to raise their record to 3-1 with a 26-8 win against the Husk- ies. The defense was led by Connor Phillips, Connor Mal- oney, Josh Lydon, Dylan Lis- now, Charles Harry, Jare Polit- Moran, Justin Hutchins, Chris Chivera and Cole Wyffels. The offensive was led by the blocking of linemen Joe Thompson, Ryan Phillips, Izaiah Calpin, Drew Patton, and Mike Sebolka. Xavier Bar- ber made a few nice runs, in- cluding one for a 65-yard touchdown. The other scor- ing information was not pro- vided. BISHOP O’REILLY PLANS GOLF TOURNAMENT he Bishop O'Reilly High School Development Committee will hold its fifth annual Family Golf Outing beginning with a1p.m. shotgun start Friday, Sept. 29 at Four Seasons Golf Course in Exeter. The cost of $60 for players 18 and older and $50 for students includes a patio hot dog lunch at noon, cart, 18 holes of golf, dinner, refreshments and prizes.
