(Dick) Keiper Sr., age 68, of Sweet Valley, former- ly of Noxen, passed away Tues- day, June 13, 2006 after a leng- thy illness at the Kindred Hos- pital of Wyoming Valley, Wilkes-Barre, where the nurses and staff took exceptional care of him during his illness. Mr. Keiper was born Nov. 19, 1937, in Wilkes-Barre, and was :ason of the late Clayton and El- sie (Blizzard) Keiper Sr. . He graduated from Lake- Noxen High School, class of 1956. In 1957, he married his ‘high school sweetheart, the former Nancy Kline and they would have celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary this ‘coming December. He was aretiree of Procter & ‘Gamble Paper Products, Me- ‘hoopany. | Paul was an avid Philadel- 'phia Eagles football fan and his favorite pastimes included camping, fishing and horses. His final days were spent sur- rounded by his loving family. He was preceded in death by a brother, William Keiper. Surviving in addition to his loving and devoted wife are his caring children, Deborah Moyer and her husband, Gary, Sweet Valley; Susie Gross and her husband, Jodie, Sweet Val- ley; Paul R. Keiper and his wife, Michele, Harveys Lake: broth- ers, Robert Keiper, Palm Bay, Fla.; Clayton Keiper Jr., Tunk- hannock; Raymond Keiper, Noxen; sister, Dorothy Hettig- er, Montrose; grandchildren, Matthew and Tara Moyer, Jen- nifer and Matthew Lovett, Ste- phanie and Christopher Birt, Brandy and Matthew Cilvik, Michael Gross, Kyle, Caleb, Kassie and Carey-Anne Keiper; great-grandchildren, Halli and Logan Moyer, Julia and MacK- enna Lovett and Zachery Birt; many cousins, nieces and ne- phews. She was born in Scranton on April 21,1941, a daughter of the late Robert J. and Clare (Walsh) Delmar. i She received her GED from ‘the Scranton School District and received her Licensed Practical Nurses Certificate from the Hoyt School of Nurs- ing in Scranton. Prior to her retirement, she was employed at the Mercy Hospital in Scranton and at the Carpenter Care Center in Tunkhannock. She attended the Church of the Nativity BVM in Tunkhan- nock. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and will be dearly missed by all of her family including her dog Cassi- dy. Surviving are her.husband of 24 years, Frank A. Bohenek; sons Joseph Aulisio of Hunlock Creek; Dominick and Michael Aulisio, both of Tunkhannock; and Patrick Aulisio of Old Forge; brother Robert T. Del- mar of Scranton; sisters Sally Snyder of Clarks Summit; and Maggie Stevens of Scranton; four grandchildren. Interment of cremated re- mains, Old Forge Cemetery. She was born Jan. 1, 1912, in Forty Fort to Frederick and Mabel Zim- merman. Frances attended Lehman schools, then worked as a hospital stenographer un- til her marriage to Albert C. Ide. She was an active member of Lehman United Methodist Church, as well as contributing greatly to the Lehman area, where the family resided until moving to Arizona several years ago to be closer to her family. Born in Kingston, Nov. 2, 1947, she was a daughter of E. Carl Husted, Dallas, and the late Frances (Andrews) Hust- ed. She was a graduate of Wyoming Seminary, Kingston, and had earned her bachelor’s degree and master’s degree from Marywood College. She was a member of St. Therese’s Church, Shavertown. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her sister Carol Jean Husted, “and her aunt Dr. Inez Husted.
