Both girls are members of the dance line “High Energy,” which won first place in the novelty category and second place in line tap. McGee and DiMaria are dance students under the direction of Kristine Oberst, co-owner and director of the Back Mountain Dance Studio of Dallas. McGee is the daughter of James and Lisa McGee. DiMaria is the daughter of Fred and Lauren DiMaria, of Dallas. St. Paul's hosting roast beef dinner St. Paul’s Lutheran Church will hold a family-style roast beef dinner from 4-6:30 p.m. Saturday, June 3 at the church on Route 118 in Dallas Town- at 3:30 p.m.. A Fraktur is a Pennsylvania German document such as a birth or wedding certificate that is written in calligraphy and illumi- nated with decorative motifs such as tulips, birds or scrolls. Some of the items on display include nameplates, greeting cards, a wedding certificate, and a house blessing. Brelsford has donated the house blessing Fraktur featuring “God Bless Our Home" done in pink flowers and greenery to Back Moun- tain Memorial Library's 60th annual auction, which will be held in July. Brelsford resides with her husband Doug and son Jesse. The couple's daughter, Melissa, lives in Coatesville. Church plans celebration events The Lehman-Idetown United Methodist Church is holding a yearlong anniversary cele- bration. The Lehman United Metho- dist Church is celebrating its 150th anniversary, Idetown United Methodist Church is celebrating its 141st anniver- sary and this year marks the second anniversary of the Leh- man-Idetown United Methodist Church merger. The theme for the celebra- tion is “Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow.” Children’s Sunday will take _ place May 21. This will be the last day for Sunday school until September. The children will sing, and recite the 23rd Psalm, which they have worked on for a few months. To celebrate the anniversary, replicas of the Lehman and Idetown churches will be sold. Men's breakfast ® held each Tuesday The Shavertown United Methodist Church recently began holding a weekly ec- umenical men’s breakfast. The group meets at 8 a.m. each Tuesday at Pickett’s Charge restaurant on Route 415 in Dallas. The Dutch treat breakfast is followed by fellowship and a short devo- tion period. The breakfast, fellowship and devotion period last no longer than one hour. Men from all Back Mountain churches are en- couraged to attend.
