Oliver named to Land Trust post Tunkhannock resident Frank H. Oliver has been named Executive Director of the North Branch Land Trust. Edward J. Zygmunt, presi- dent of the board of directors of the regional conservancy, announced the appointment. Oliver comes to the land trust af- ter serving seven years as senior vice president of Goettler Associ- ates in Columbus, Ohio. During his career, Oliver has served more than 30 nonprofit organizations through strategic planning, mar- keting, and resource development. Most recently, Oliver served the National Aviary, a conservation and education organization in western Pennsylvania. “The land trust recently com- pleted a comprehensive strategic planning process, and we searched nationwide for someone with the kind of organizational develop- ment experience Frank will bring to the organization,” Zygmunt said. “We are certain that Frank is the right person who will take us to a higher level of conservation effec- tiveness.” Oliver is a graduate of the Uni- versity of Pittsburgh, Carnegie Mellon University, and Columbia University. NBLT focuses on the watershed re- sources that flow into the North Branch of the Susquehanna River and on the agricultural heritage of Northeastern Pennsylvania. The organization oversees land preser- vation agreements on nearly 7,000 acres of privately held property within its service area.
