There will be no bag limits for trash collection from Monday, Dec. 26 through Friday, Dec. 30. The normal two-bag limit will resume Monday, Jan. 2. For more information, call DAMA at 696-1133. Christmas party Dec. 17 at Legion The Dallas American Legion Post 672 will hold its annual Christmas party for children at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 17 at the Post Home on Route 415 in Dallas. Dock ice insurance may be purchased For the third consecutive year, the Harveys Lake Protective Association is selling ice insur- ance policies for docks. Leaf collection being held in Dallas Dallas Borough is holding its fall leaf collection program. Collection will continue through November or until the first significant snow event of the winter season. Borough resi- dents are asked to comply with the following leaf collection guidelines: ¢ Leaves should be raked to the curbside for vacuum collec- tion. Do not include grass clippings or other yard waste. The vacu- um equipment will not function properly if residents commingle yard waste with the leaves. ® Residents are asked to rake all leaves to the curbside in long thin rows approximately 3 feet wide. Placing the leaves curbside in this manner will facilitate collec- tion. Residents are cautioned not to place any items within the road right of way that may create potentially hazardous or unsafe conditions. ¢ Residents who prefer to collect leaves and place them in plastic bags may do so by plac- ing the bags curbside for pick- up.
