Sunday, December 4, 2005 CHURCH THE POST PAGE?9 PROJECT BENEFITS CHILDREN AROUND THE WORLD Members of the New Life Community Church recently helped to pack 125 shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child, an outreach of Samaritan's Purse. The shoeboxes will be part of the 7 million that have been packed by volunteers and will be distributed to children in 90 different countries around the world. The children are suffering from war, terror- ism, disease, natural disaster, famine and poverty. The shoe- boxes were packed according to three age groups and in- cluded items for personal hy- giene, toys for girls and boys, and candy. The local project was under the direction of Sandi Francis. Special Christ- mas programs are scheduled at New Life Community Church, which is located on Brace Road in Dallas. There will be a Christmas musical variety show at 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec.1, a Christmas candlelight service at 7 p.m. Dec. 24 and a special Christmas Sunday service at10 a.m. Christmas Day.
