Sunday, November 6, 2005 COMMUNITY THE POST PAGE 3 os The seniors class float, with a 1970s theme, captured first place in the parade. oe A Crowning achievement Lake-Lehman Homecoming a success Chelsea Sprau was crowned Homecoming Queen and Shae Adamshick was named the Homecoming King as Lake- Lehman High School conclud- ed its weeklong Homecoming activities last weekend. Sprau, daughter of Kenneth and Joan Sprau, received the honor before the school’s home football game against Greater Nanticoke Area. She was crowned by last year’s queen, Marissa Mahle. Other members of the Home- coming Court were Brittany Shewan, daughter of Fred and Laurie Kennedy; Brittany Hill- ard, daughter of Keith and La- rissa Hillard; Katie Ambrose, daughter of Robert and Barbara Ambrose; Jill Chocallo, daugh- ter of Paul and Cindy Chocallo; and Allison Mariner, daughter of David and Margie Mariner. Bryan Cardillo dressed as the Lake-Lehman Black Knight. Adamshick, son of Paul and Patti Adamshick, was crowned Homecoming King during the school’s annual dance. Other members of the Homecoming King Court were Josh Arnold, son of Sophia Arnold; Eric Gronski, son of David and Kim Gronski; Stan Brudnicki, son of Stan and Margaret Brudnicki; and Steve Heindel, son of Wayne and Diane Heindel. In keeping with tradition, each class at Lake-Lehman was responsible for entering a float in the annual Homecoming pa- rade. The senior class, using a 1970s theme, captured first- place honors. The junior class used a theme of the ‘80s; the sophomores concentrated on the 1960s; and the freshmen made a float with a ‘50s theme. The Homecoming activities were sponsored by the junior class, under the direction of class advisers Gail Honeywell and Lee Sikora.
