The Dallas Post OCAL PROS TUCKER Continued from Page 1 works hard for the people of his district and I enjoy working for him.” After earning political science and philosophy degrees from Johns Hopkins University in Bal- timore, Tucker served as an in- tern for then-Rep. Robert Ehrlich of Maryland. He worked in Ehr- lich’s administration (after the congressman ran for — and was elected — governor of Maryland in 2002. Tucker’s first job in the nation’s capital was working for the “Bul- letin News” publication. For al- most five months, the former Dal- las football player worked from midnight to 8 a.m. reading news and gathering information for a single briefing. “I really wanted to work on the Hill,” said Tucker. “So, I took the first opening that came along. I was able to get very familiar with newspapers, but the hours were tough.” Before he began working for Peterson in June, Tucker worked for almost a year as a grant/ speechwriter for The Heritage Foundation, a conservative think tank in Washington. During that time, he wrote two college com- mencement speeches for Heri- tage Foundation president Edwin Feulner. With the demands of his cur- rent job — combined with the hec- tic, fast-paced lifestyle in Was ington — Tucker hasn’t given a lo of thought to his future. Including a possible run for elected office. “Pm content where I am for foreseeable future,” he said. “I think anyone in my position, at my age, wants to run for Con- gress. But at this time, I don’t have command of all the issues. I also don’t have the money (for a campaign) and my family doesn’t have the money. “Right now, it’s a pipe dream. But you never know.” © PUZILE ANSWERS — King Crossword — Answers S|T|R|A|P H]A|S|S|L|E G|A|R|A|G|E A|VIA|TIA|R O|R}1|S|O|N L|O|G|A[N|S PlA|S|T C|R|O|W NIE |E A|C|HI|E S|A|D A S PlA|L|S M|O|M M|A|K|E|JAIN|O|TIE|O|F|I|T AIN|EIW TIA|R|E FIR LIE|GEMD|E|L|E A|C|E E|IL|S|A FILIU RIO|T|A|T|E KIA|R|A|T A[DJOIN| I |S E|JL|E|V]E TIEINJAIN|T RIE|IM|A|P Puzzles, Page 4 Rational Numbers R|E|B|A I1|V|O|R G|A[B E|LIA[L M|A|R| I |E S|E|R|A answers T|E|S|E|F|A|L|C|O|N O|R|A|L R|C|H|E|R E|AIT B|A|B|E O|T O(P|T LIE[S|L|IE R{I|{C|H O|T|O|E DIAN A[M|O|C|K|I|N|G[B|I|R|D MIE|T|E O[R|A|N E|G|A[D EID DIE|IN|VI|E|R S|L|A|VI|E Bll L|O(A TIA|LIL|O|W A|C|K|H|A|W|K[D|O|W|N A[N|Y O|A|T UIN|IT|S MIAIT|TI|E|A A|T|[T|A|C|H|E[D E(C|T N[(A|N|A R|O|D|E AIM|OIN|GIT|H|E[(P|I|G|E|O[N|S N|E A|R|E|A RII|A|T]|A L|E|O DIE|I|{S|M S|PABBW|!
