ROTARY CLUB TO AID HURRICANE VICTIMS @ | The Rotary Club of Dallas recently held an emergency board meeting and approved a $1,000 donation to be split equally between the American Red Cross and the Salvation Army. The Dallas Rotary uses three pub events in September to collect more money for the Red Cross and the Salvation Army - the ice cream booth ; the Luzerne County Fall Fair from Sept. 7-1, food booth at the Dallas Harvest Festival on Sept. 18, and a charity golf tournament at Irem Country Club on Sept. 19. The club invites the public to help bring aid and comfort to those suffering from the effects of Hurricane Katrina.
