World Day of Prayer is an ecumenical celebration of informed prayer and prayer action spanning over 170 coun- tries. This year’s service was written by the women of Poland with the theme, “Let Our Light Shine.” An offering to support ongo- ing work of Church Women United (the national committee of the World Day of Prayer in the United States) will be taken. @ of the offering are des- gnated toward women’s proj- ects internationally and in the The Dallas Post US., as well as to support the work of the World Day of Prayer international committee, which works with women around the world to prepare worship mate- rials and resources.
