She was post mistress of the Lawton post office, store, and gas station, which she owned and operated with her usband, Seth. She and Seth 6. operated the Susquehanna County Home and Farm. She retired from her job as office manager for Dr. Charles Kraft in Meshoppen after 15 years of loyal and dedicated service. She was a member of the Tunkhannock United Methodist Church. Some of her favorite past times were crocheting, baking, corresponding to friends and family, and spending time with her loved ones. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Seth, with whom she celebrated 56 years of marriage, and whose passing occurred only one week prior to her own. Also preced- ing her in death were her sister, Jean Wilson, and brothers, Gary and Arden Jenner. Surviving members of her family are her children, Audrey and Dave Roosa of Tunkhannock; Ellen Day of eshoppen; and Judy and @:: Boyanowski of Mehoopany; grandchildren, Mike and Shelli Roosa of Mountain Top; Jerry and Kristal Roosa of Tunkhannock; Bill Cornell of Dryden, NY; Tim Cornell of Tunkhannock; Julie Cornell of Candor, NY; Amy and Scott Williams of West Alicia Boyanowski of Germany. MARYALICE HEINEMAN Dallas woman, 85 Maryalice Heineman, 85, of J Dallas, passed away Thursday morning, Jan. 13, 2005. She was a daughter of the late Dennis J. and Anna Marie (Carney) O’Brien. She was pre- deceased by her husband, Robert B.; brothers Harold and Jack O’Brien; sister Kay Dalton. Surviving are daughters Anne Jeineman Batory, Dallas; athryn Heineman Locovare, Bridgehampton, L.ILN.Y.; two grandchildren; two great-grand- children; 15 nieces and nephews. Grove; and Captain Brian and: March 11, 1930, he was the son of the late John J. and Rose Pavlovec. He was a graduate of Fort Atkinson schools. Mr. Pavlovec had a distin- guished and highly decorated 20 year career in the United States Air Force. He served in both the Korean conflict and the Vietnam War. He retired from the Air Force in 1968 with the rank of master ser- geant. Following his retirement from the Air Force, he was employed for 20 plus years with the Procter & Gamble: Company. He was a member of St. Francis Cabrini Church, Carverton. He was also a member of the VFW and American Legion, Dallas. He was an avid Berwick football fan. He was preceded in death by his sister, Helen Chapman. Surviving are his wife of 36 years, the former Maralyn Williams; daughter, Amy Zeiss, Dallas; son, Richard, Alabama; grandchildren, Colin and Allison; sister, Emma Swelha, Winona, Minnesota; several nieces and nephews. WILLIAM TYLER Ham radio fan and outdoor enthusiast William D. Tyler of Saddle Lake Road, Tunkhannock, died January 17, 2005 in the Hospice Unit at Mercy Hospital in Scranton. He was born in Scranton on March" 2, ‘1942, ‘son’. of Christine White Tyler, of Factoryville, and the late W. Duane Tyler. He was a 1959 graduate of Lackawanna Trail High School and received an Associate’s Degree from Penn State University. He was employed as an Examiner for the Pennsylvania Motor Licensing Bureau in the Philadelphia Area transferring to the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board retiring in 2002 after 20 years of service. He was a member of the Factoryville Sportsman’s Club, F&AM Mason at large, and an amateur Ham Radio Operator. He enjoyed flying, hunting and fishing. Surviving are his wife of 33 years, Judith Harris Tyler; daughter, Rebecca Tyler, at home; brother, Edwin Tyler, of Clarks Summit; nieces and nephews. Interment, Clarks Green Cemetery, Clarks Green. Mrs. Daring and her husband were the proprietors of Daring’s Market Inc. for 35 years until their retirement In 1992. She was a member of the Dallas United Methodist Church, Dallas, a past member of the Dallas Junior Women’s Club and Irem Temple Country Club Women’s Golf Association. Surviving are her husband of 54 years, Raymond J. LOUISE SCHULTZ 1934 graduate of Laketon High School Louise Schultz, age 89, of Harvey’s Lake, died January 14, 2005, at Hospice Care of the VNA, Heritage House, Wilkes-Barre. She was born in Courtdale, - October 27, 1915, and was the daughter of the late Frank and Jennie James Gosart. She had resided at Harveys Lake most of her life. She graduated from Laketon High School, Class of 1934, and was a member of the Outlet Free Methodist Church. She will be remembered for her artistic talents of painting and ceramics. He was a loving husband and father to his wife, Wendy Miller Crane, and son Matthew. He was a loving and devoted son to his parents, Calvin and Nancy Dymond Crane.
