Game Commission 2005 calendar goes on sale The Pennsylvania Game Commission has released its 2005 calendar, priced at $8.95 (plus tax and shipping), on “The Outdoor Shop” on the agency's website (www.pgc.state.pa.us) and at all Game Commission offices. The 2005 calendar features a year’s worth of dramatic wildlife photos taken by agency employees: Hal Korber, wildlife education specialist at the Harrisburg headquarters; Rob Criswell, Southcentral Region Land Management Supervisor in Huntingdon; Billie Cromwell, retired Food and Cover Crew foreman in Fulton County; Timothy C. Flanigan, Wildlife Conservation Officer in Bedford County; and John Wasserman, Wildlife Conservation Officer in Clinton County. January through December features a full-color photo of a different wildlife species, including: a downy woodpeck- er; a fisher; a river otter; a red- tailed hawk; a wild turkey; a whitetail fawn; a wild turkey with poults; a coyote; an elk; a ring-necked pheasant; a black bear; and a white-tailed deer. The calendar also provides a brief overview of the Game Commission and a list of con- tact information for the agency's offices. SUPER BOWLS (continued from page 7) game, followed by the 2-point conversions by Wanek and Goeringer. Also rushing for some big gains were Jordan Mullen, J.D. Mead, Woody Baney, Justin Brobst and Paul Brace. Throughout the season Dallas scored over 30 points per game. In the second half, Paul Brace hauled in a 25-yard pass from Tyler Shutlock to set up another touchdown by Goeringer. The Dallas defen- sive line led by Buddy Shutlock, Donnie Behm, Austin Sickler, Robert Graham and Bryan McDonnell put pres- sure on the Raiders’ quarter- back and running backs throughout the entire game, while linebackers Eric Anderson, Garrett Artsma and Bobby Saba led the team in tackles. Outside containment was held by Michael Wright, Patrick Condo, Billy Dixon, Stephen Zapoticky and Dustin Siperko. Stephen Zapoticky had a third quarter interception and took the Raiders back for a loss of yardage several times which helped to seal the win. The Raiders were led by Jake Simon with two superb touch- down runs. Matt Tatarnyw, Robby Evans, Dylan Thomas, Jon Laity, Mike Sebastian, Jake Hilstolsky and Max Burke pro- vided great performances offensively and defensively as they complete their final year of B team eligibility. The Raiders finish their season with an 8-4 record. Duryea Wildcats C 19, Kingston Twp. KT came right back to score on their next two pos- sessions to take the lead at 12- 6 and put Duryea behind on the scoreboard for the first time during the 2004 season in any of their previous 11 games. Neil Shaver, following perimeter blocks by J.T. Carey, Joe Delamater, Jesse Shaffer and Matt Doggett, scored on a 71-yard sweep and a 15-yard draw play for his 26th and 27th touchdowns of the sea- son. After the ensuing kickoff, Duryea methodically drove the ball to the Raiders 8-yard line. The drive appeared to stall after a penalty and three sacks by Kyle Kotulski, Domenic Oliveri and Luke Edwards. Facing a fourth and goal from the Raider 25-yard line, the Wildcats executed a double reverse that caught the Raider defense by surprise and resulted in the game-tying touchdown going into half- time. Both defenses stiffened and hammered the opposing ball carriers while trading field position throughout most of the second half. With seven minutes to go in the game, Duryea took possession at the Raiders 46-yard line and drove to the Raiders 12 while taking four minutes off the clock. On fourth down, the Wildcats swept around the Raiders defense and scored the go- ahead touchdown. KT was unable to answer on their last possession and Duryea ran out the clock. The Raiders finished the season with a record of 8-4 and will graduate Jim Caffrey, Sal Moran, Brenten Pannell, Michael Raimey, Andrea Boedecker, Chris Hood, Delamater, Edwards and Shaver to the Raiders B-Team for the 2005 season.
