Taking the ball into the end zone on were Brett Wanek for two touch- downs, Dustin Siperko, Tyler Shutlock and Adam Goeringer, each with one touchdown. Two-point con- versions were scored by Justin Brobst with two, and Donnie Behm, Billy Dixon and Shane Kalna each with one a piece. Intercepting the Forty Fort passing game was Paul Brace, Brobst and Wanek while Buddy Shutlock grounded the Flyers quarterback with a sack. Dallas C 22, Forty Fort 6 The Dallas C Team improved their record with another win. It was a great team effort by both offense and defense. The Dallas defense remained strong in the second half of the game by shutting down the Flyers’ running game as well as their passing game with an interception by Ryan Zapoticky. Scoring touchdowns for the Mounts were Mark Michno, Nathan Vario and Ryan Zapoticky. Two-point conversions were scored by Zapoticky and Michno. Dallas D 12, Forty Fort 6 The Dallas Junior Mounts D team defeated the previous number one Forty Fort Flyers in overtime. The Mounts and the Flyers are now tied Omar Nijmeh scored one of the Kingston Township Raiders’ D team touchdowns. for first place in their division. The score was tied 6-6 at the end of regu- lation. The Forty Fort Flyers chance to score in overtime was cut short on fourth down as Cole Dixon's sack of the Flyers quarterback turned the ball over to the Junior Mounts. It was first and 10 when Mikey Shutlock took the ball into the end zone for the game- winning score. Shutlock had 16 car- ries and Mitch Benson had nine car- ries. The Dallas Junior Mounts defense included Benson, Ryan Cheskiewicz, Cody Long, Ryan Monk, Josh Orlandini, Kris Rosencrans and Paul Zablotney. The Dallas Junior Mounts D team have assured their spot in the playoffs. Kingston Twp. B 6, Edwardsville Eagles O Matt Tatarnyw scored a touchdown in the second half to lead the Kingston Township Raiders to victo- ry. The KT defense held Edwardsville in check for most of the afternoon, led by the linebacker corps of Jake Simon, Dylan Thomas and David Gawlas. The defensive front of Jake Hilstolsky, T.J. Weeks, Chris Ostrum, Justin Rivero, Jon Laity, Robert Baker and Robert Boedecker kept the heat on the Edwardsville team all day. Robby Evans also contributed with an interception in the second quarter. KT’s record improved to 6-3. Edwardsville Eagles C 12, Kingston Twp. O Neil Shaver, Jesse Shaffer and Matt Doggett combined to rush for 125 yards in a losing effort. The loss dropped the Raiders to 6-3. Kingston Twp. D 12, Edwardsville Eagles O Michael Olenginski and Omar Nijmeh had long touchdown runs that gave the Raiders their third vic- ~ tory in four games in the second half of the season. Kingston Township's defense shut out the Edwardsville attack for the second time this sea- son. William Spare was relentless at nose tackle while Peter Capitano made crucial tackles to prevent touchdowns. John Gelsleichter, Collin Pertl, Peter Hamel and Ryan Boedecker were instrumental to the defensive effort while David Edwards and Kyle Piscorik provided help with the running game. The win put the Raiders’ season record at 5-4 heading into the last week of the season.
