FRANK A. HODAKOWSKI Builder and owner of Suburban Dairy Farm Mr. Frank A. Hodakowski, 89, of Franklin Township, died August 31, 2004 in the General Hospital, Wilkes-Barre. He was born in Hanover Township, the son of the late John and Mary (Skoras) Ho- dakowski, and was a graduate of Edwardsville High School. A master carpenter, he was self- employed building cabinets and homes. He also was a dairy farmer and was an owner of the Suburban Dairy Farm. Mr. Hodakowski was a member of St. Hedwig’s Church, Kingston. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Edward and William. DONALD HOOVER World War Il veteran Donald A. Hoover, age 76, of Lehman Township, died Aug. 28, 2004, at home. Mr. Hoover was born in Lehman, Jan. 21, 1928, and was the son of the late Dewey G. and Frances Goss Hoover. During World War II, he served as a staff sergeant in the 580th Ordnance Heavy Auto- motive Company on the island of Guam in the Pacific. Upon discharge from the service, he entered into partnership with his cousin, Floyd Milbrodt, to form the excavating company known as “Hoover & Mil brodt” in November of 1947. His buddy, Floyd, died on Jan. 30, 2004. Don and his wife, Rose, were also engaged in dairy farming for many years. He was preceded in death by his sister, Marion Hawley Cross. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, the former Rose Yatsko; brothers, Leslie and David Hoover, Dallas; two nieces and a nephew. Interment, . Hoover Farm Cemetery, Hoover Road, Lehman Township.
