IN SERVICE Price speaks about duty in Iraq Dallas resident Jerry Price, a U.S. Naval Reserve chief petty officer and licensed geologist, spoke recently at Allentown Business School about his ex- periences during a five-month, 2003 tour of duty in Iraq with Naval Construction Battalion 2, Price’s unit, after entering Iraq just days behind main Coalition forces, provided key support and brought humani- tarian aid to residents in the port of Umm Quaser, then moved north to As Samawah, continuing humanitarian work as well as support for units of the United States Marine Corps. oo 0 Midshipman 3/C John W. Gilligan has been named to the dean's list for the fall and spring semesters at the United States Naval Academy, Annapo- lis, MD. He has just completed a two-week tour with the US.S. Augusta, a naval attack subma- rine. While on board, he took the Con for a mock man-over- board exercise. He is currently on board a 108 foot YP training boat traveling from Norfolk, Virginia, to New York City and then to Portsmouth, New Hampshire. He is a 2003 gradu- ate of Dallas High School. If taxes are paid by a mortgage company or bank, the property owner is responsi- ble for forwarding the bill to them. County and municipal taxes are now due at penalty value. The last day to pay all 2004 taxes is December 15.
