A recycling trailer with a divider separating two sections will be at the township municipal building the third Tuesday of each month, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Each section will be clear- ly marked either co-mingled (co-mingled is plastic, glass and metallic bottles, jars and cans) or newspaper / cardboard. Recyclable must be place in the specified section. Residents are asked to bring their recycling materials in reusable containers to the Jackson Township Mu- nicipal Building, 2211 Huntsville Rd. The groom-to-be is a native of Lynchburg, and is the grandson of William and Marion Glenn and Violet Peters. Standing water caution Residents are asked to eliminate any accu- mulation of stagnant water on their property to help prevent the spread of mosquitoes. It is unlawful to have any collection of standing water in which mosquitoes are likely to breed, unless the water is treated or main- tained to prevent breeding. The only excep- tion is for agricultural purposes. The Pennsyl- vania Department of Environmental Protec- tion and Health warn there is a chance the West Nile Virus could be spread into Pennsyl- vania this summer by the common mosquito. The program is open ex- clusively to resident children of Kingston Township who have completed kindergarten up to 12 years of age at time of registra- tion. Proof of residency, such as a tax bill or driver’s license will be required at the time of registra- tion. Registration fees are $25 for the first child and $15 for each ad- ditional child per family and must be paid at the time of registration. Each child registering will receive a township logo t-shirt, and sizes will be requested during registra- tion. For more information, call the Kingston Township Municipal Building at 696-3809. This program will be conducted each weekday, weather permit- ting, from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. Pro- gram participants will meet at the Center Street Park each morning. Children should bring a bag lunch and drink each day. Parents are re- minded that the children are re- sponsible for their own admission fees for field trips, swimming, and other activities. The recreation supervisor and counselors will have many excit- ing and enriching activities planned for the children. Each day spent at the Center Street Park will include sports, games, guest speakers, music, and arts and crafts. In addition, there will be several field trips throughout the summer. Registrations will not be accepted after the deadline, June 27, at 4:30 p.m. Recycling site open DALLAS TWP. — The recycling site for yard waste in the rear of the township building is for residents only. Acceptable items include leaves, grass, twigs and yard waste. No stumps, logs or kitchen trash will be ac- cepted. Violators will be prosecuted. Recycling hours are from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays; 8 a.m. to sunset Wednesdays; and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays. The site is closed Sundays.
