Hello Dolly! at Music Box The Music Box Players will present one of their most popular shows when Hello Dolly! hits that stage for a run that lasts through March 14. This first annual event is a fun, in- the-field adventure trip, and the only way to go on the March Salamander Search is to attend the Salamander Sideshow Wednesday, Feb. 25 at 7 p.m. Rick Koval, on-staff Natural- ist for the North Branch Land Trust (also a member of the Reptile and Amphibian Techni- cal and Advisory Committee Member for the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission) has spent years finding, learn- ing about and supporting habi- tat preservation for the sala- ~ manders of Northeastern PA. Rick is offering a slide presen- tation depicting an amazing 14 species of salamanders he has discovered and photographed from our local area will be shown. After the slide presen- tation Rick will display several live salamanders up close and personal to the audience. A drawing will be offered to the attendance to join Rick in a night-time adventure (the “Salamander Search”) in March to locate and observe some of Pennsylvania largest salamanders. The cost to attend the event is $3 per person, (children un- der 12, $2) and all proceeds go to support NBLT, a nonprofit organization dedicated to pro- tecting the habitat, environ- ment and species that make Northeastern PA special.
