Precone Sr., 85, of Dallas, died November 22, 2003 at Meadows Nursing Cen- ter, Dallas. Born Oct. 24, 1918, in Luzerne, he was a son of the late Michael and Rose (Renne) Precone. He attended Luzerne schools. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. He worked in the brew- ery business for the Stegmaier Brewing Co., Wilkes-Barre, and the Barlet Co. He was a mem- ber of St. Therese’s Church, Shavertown, and was a former member of its choir. He was also a former member of the West Side Flower Club, past president of the Back Moun- tain Senior Citizens Club, ac- tive with the Cub and Boy Scouts, and a coach for Back Mountain Baseball. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and gar- dener. He was preceded in death by his brother, William; sisters, Victoria and Marie. Kingston Twp. rights-of-way must be kept clear Kingston Township residents and property owners are re- minded not to place encroach- ments, such as fences, land- scaping timbers, trees, shrubs or any other item within the Township street right-of-way. Property owners need to be aware that they do not own up to the edge of the roadway. Street right-of-ways vary from 33 to 50 feet. Residents that are unsure of the width of their street may call the Township Office for further information. It is very important that the right-of-way remain free of en- croachments for snow removal, utility construction and street maintenance.
