She was voted Mrs. Senior Penn- sylvania in 1998 and participat- ed in the national Mrs. Senior Pageant the same year. She was a vocalist and entertainer with several area bands, in- cluding her own band named Lady. She performed annually at the Italian Festival in Scran- ton and at Nay Aug Park dur- ing the summer.
