The Dallas Post 675-5211 SAT REVIEW § Choral Society seeks aspiring singers The College Misericordia Choral Society, directed by Dr. John Curtis, is currently ac- cepting new members for the fall semester. This 50-voice chorus made up of students, faculty, and staff of the college and members of the communi- ty has developed an outstand- ing reputation for bringing high quality music to the Wyoming Valley for the past 10 years. This season the chorus will be performing the beautiful “Laud to the Nativity” by the Italian composer -Ottorino Respighi with professional or- chestra and soloists. Carols from around Europe will round out the Christmas program, in- cluding music Dr. Curtis brought back from a recent trip to the Czech Republic. In addition, there will be an op- portunity for members to join a 200-voice choir in a perform- ance of the Mozart Requiem with the Northeastern Penn- sylvania Philharmonic Orches- tra in November. Rehearsals are Tuesday evenings, 7-9:30 p.m. in the Kennedy Lounge in the Banks Center on the campus of Col- lege Misericordia. All are wel- come without audition.
