Written and originally direct- ed by Ted Swindley, and by special permission of the fami- ly and estate of patsy Cline, the two character musical is based on a true story of an ordinary Houston housewife, Louise Seeger, an ardent Cline fan, who becomes personal friends with Patsy Cline from 1957 to 1963, the year in which Cline was tragically killed in a plane crash at the peak of her career. Throughout this one and one-half hour entertainment, we hear over 20 of Cline’s most memorable hit songs, includ- ing: “Walkin’ After Midnight”, “Your Cheatin’ Heart:, “Sweet Dreams”, “I Fall To Pieces”, and, of course, “Crazy”, sung by Nicole Ross Rasmus, one of Northeast PA’s finest singer /actresses-playing the ti- tle role. The intrica- cies of design and execution re- veal the care and craftsmanship used to produce both useful and artful quilts and coverlets,” said Brian J. Benedetti, director of The MacDonald Art Gallery. “In the past 25 years there has been a renaissance of interest in contempo- rary and antique quilts. It is with great appreciation and excite- ment that we present the quilts from Dr. Byron's collection.” Gallery hours during July and September are as follows: Mon- day, closed; Tuesday-Thursday, 1-5 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday, 1-5 p.m. Exhibit hours during the month of August are by appointment only.
