The fair will be open "from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and from 2b:30-8:30 p.m. College admis- mmsions counselors will be avail- evening, and the evening session will feature programs on finan- cial aid, choosing a college, what to know about Ivy League and other highly selective institu- tions, how to use a high school college guidance office, and how colleges recruit athletes. Parents and their children are encouraged to attend the evening session together. This is the first year the fair, sponsored ‘and organized by PACAC, has been held at the Arena. In the past, Wyoming Seminary held a college fair in the spring at the Upper School in Kingston. Students who want to request information from many colleges bring pre-printed labels with their names and addresses, to reduce time spent in filling out Learning center opens Keystone Points of Knowledge has opened in the Twin Stacks Cen-3 ter, in Dallas. Keystone Points of Knowledge is a network of learn; ing centers dedicated to working with a variety of organizations, schools and community leaders to provide convenient and afford- able remedial and enrichment educational tutoring services. The program serves children in grades K—12. After each student is tested, he or she receives individualized instruction. All Keystone Points of Knowledge Directors of Learning are certified teachers, and the centers are certified by Classroom Plus, Pennsylvaniy, s grant program for third through sixth graders. Local Keystone Points of Knowledge Learning Centers are owned} 3 and operated by Gerry Pernot. He is a native of Luzerne County, a graduate of Wilkes University and he earned his MBA from the | University of Scranton.
