The awards are intended to recognize successful examples of restora- tion, rehabilitation, or adaptive reuse of historic buildings and/or properties in Luzerne County. The winning nominations will be presented and the awards conferred at the Society’s Annu- al Dinner and Meeting to be held April 25 at the Fox Hill Country Club in Exeter. Private, public, commercial, and residential buildings are eli- gible. Nomination forms and in- formation regarding the annual dinner or membership are avail- able at the Historic Society's Bishop Library (49 South Franklin St. Wilkes-Barre) or by calling 823-6244. Infant/child CPR class The local American Red Cross Chapter will be conducting an Infant/Child CPR Class at the Chapter House located at 156 South Franklin Street, Wilkes- Barre, on Tuesday, April 8 from 6-10 p.m. This class is designed for childcare workers, teachers, parents and others who care for young children.
