Born July 23, 1921, in Dallas, ‘he was the son of the late Frank “and Nellie (Machell) Brown. He "was a U.S. Navy veteran of ‘World War II, serving in the Pa=; cific. He was a 1940 graduate of Dallas High School and was em- ployed by General Electric for many years. He was a member of the Dallas United Methodist Church.
