Rinehimer Insurance Agency Robert Carlton Rinehimer Sr., 91, of Dallas, died Satur- day March 1, 2003 at Wilkes- Barre General Hospital. Born March 11, 1911, in Wilkes-Barre, he was a son of the late J. Stanley and Leona (Biehl) Rinehimer. He graduat- ed from Wyoming Seminary and Penn State. He also lived in Forty Fort and Kingston. He was owner of the J.S. Rine- himer Insurance Agency. He was a member and former pres- ident of Local Insurance Agen- cies Association, Northeastern Pennsylvania Chapter of the CPCU and was an organizer and founder of the Wilkes- Barre Junior Chamber of Com- merce, where he also served as its president. He was also a member of the First Presbyter- ian Church, Wilkes-Barre; Irem Temple AAONMS and its Golf Association; Caldwell Consisto- ry; U.S. Golf Association; Wyoming Valley Country Club; Franklin Club; Elks Club; and the Westmoreland Club. He served as treasurer of the Wyoming Valley Chapter of the American Red Cross, treasurer and director of the Wyoming Valley Automobile Club, former ‘director of Wilkes-Barre Day School and Wilkes-Barre Base- ball Club. He also served as board member of Northeastern Bank and was active with fund- raising with the American Red Cross; the United Way, where he also served as chairman; and with the Industrial Fund at Wilkes College. He was also a member and past master of Masonic Lodge 395. He was preceded in death by his brother, John S. Jr. Surviving are his wife of 64 years, the former Dorothy Tonkin; son, Robert Jr., Edin- burg, Va.; sister, Carol Becker, Florida; and nieces and nephews. DENNIS RICHARDS U.S. Navy veteran and Harveys Lake resident Dennis S. Richards, 53, of Harveys Lake, formerly of Ex- eter, died Tuesday February 24, 2003 at home. Born April 28,. 1949, in Pittston, he was the son of the late Frank and Irene (Mislan) Richards. He was a 1967 gradu- ate of Wyoming Area High School and a 1982 graduate of King's College, Wilkes-Barre. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of Viet- nam and was employed by the Internal Revenue Service as a revenue agent for many years. Surviving are his daughter, Jessica Richards, Harrisburg; son, Jason Donnora, Longwood, Fla.; brother, Frank, Luzerne; sisters, Joan Jemiola, Dupont; Dorothy Savoy, Pittston; and nieces and nephews.
